Wow. I hope the Academy Awards are better, because the Fashion Police are going to have a field day tearing apart the dresses that sashayed down the red carpet at tonight’s Golden Globes. Personally, I was very disappointed with the choices worn by the A-listers of Hollywood. I see the scales tipping heavily towards the Worst Dressed List this year.
All I can say is, even Hollywood must be cutting back due to the economy. And fashion stylists must have been on the chopping block, because I refuse to believe that some celebrities actually paid to look like that.
I have yet to see all the dresses, but based on what I saw during the awards ceremony, my vote for BEST DRESSED goes to (drumroll, please): Zoe Saldana
The dress is a tad bit busy, but I still love it. And you can’t deny that the elegant Ms. Saldana wore it well. It’s a Louis Vuitton, by the way. Simply gorgeous.
1st Runner-Up, goes to Chloe Sevigny in her ruffled Valentino.
