The best flip-flops in the world and my personal favs, Havaianas, are currently on sale at Urban Outfitters for $12. Some years ago, these Brazilian flip-flops were easily had in the U.S. for around this price. However, as they grew more and more popular in North America the price went up more and more. The official U.S. Havaianas website now sales the regular “Top” style (pictured) for US$18 and the limited edition styles go for as much as US$35. So, $12 is a good deal, you see.
Now, if you’ve never worn Havaianas you might balk at the thought of putting that much money down for a pair of rubber flip-flops. Why, when you can get flip-flops for $2 at Old Navy?
I’ll tell you why.
Because Havaianas are the softest, most comfortable rubber flip-flops you will ever have the opportunity to buy. No other rubber flip-flop compares to them. The soft rubber cushions the soles of your feet so you can wear them all day. They are the only rubber flip-flop that I buy. One dollar flip-flops by other brands don’t move me. They just can’t compare.
