I’m not sure who Sophie B. is, but I luv her! Funny coincidence as I have a good friend by the name of Sophie B., but I’m pretty sure they are not one and the same.

Like most women these days, I wear thongs. I actually like thongs. Buy the right brand (and most importantly, the right size) and you’ll actually forget that you are wearing any underwear at all. Yes, really!! (I hear you, non-believers.) You’ll not only feel like you aren’t wearing any undies, but you won’t look like you are wearing any either. (Unless you are one of those Glamour Don’ts who proudly shows off her thong straps with low-rise jeans. Sophisticated? Not so much.)

Sometimes it is necessary to fake going commando. Visible panty lines (VPL) are not attractive. Ever. They just aren’t. Period.

And speaking of that, sometimes you need the look, but just can’t do a thong. Or actually go commando. (wink, wink) If you have two X chromosomes, you should know what I mean.

For those times, we have the Sophie B. Concealed Pants (see photo). Whoever came up with these babies deserves an award. Their stretchy material (90% nylon, 10% spandex) clings to your body like a second skin and since there are only two strategically-placed seams, you don’t have to worry about even the slightest bumps. Truly genius.

When I just can’t have a VPL, but need a little more–ahem–coverage, I reach for these. They are functional, comfortable and cute (just check out the scalloped edge on the back). Now, if only I could find a stilletto for which I could say the same!
