As I had mentioned in a previous post, there is now a reason to enter Payless ShoeSource other than to purchase sole inserts, shoe laces and such. Abaeté! That’s “ah-BYE-ah-tay.” After you pick up your gel inserts at the front of the store, there is no shame in heading to the back to check out the current goodies in the crested white and gold boxes. I must admit, I don’t love everything in the line, but I have discovered a few gems. Like these Abaeté “Alex” brown/gold suede wedges I bought last year.

For Fall/Winter, you must rock some patent leather. Be it shoes, heels, booties or boots, you need patent leather in your closet. Now, as we all know, designer boots can get pricey and patent leather is not something you are going to be wearing everyday. You see where I’m going with this, right? Yes, ladies, run to Payless and pick up a pair of the Abaeté “Linda” boots (pictured above). They are quite stylish. And I can vouch for the fact that they are extremely comfy! A fashionable, trendy boot that is also comfortable? For a NYC fashionista, that is a must have! And the fact that these are not only patent leather* but also have a lucite heel (hel-lo!), all for $43.99? I tell you, it’s just too much.
